With a strong carpentry heritage originating from China, Mudian’s founding carpenters trace their craft and skills to Lu Ban (507–440 BC ) who was popularly referred to as the ‘Great master craftsman and architect of ancient China’.
Our story began in 1997. Over the years, Mudian has preserved Lu Ban’s ingenuity of technique and discipline in woodcraft to build a heritage that celebrates Asian values with contemporary European design and technological innovation.
